Beginners & Novices' Sessions on Saturdays

The Arts Centre, Washington

Throughout September the sessions will be aimed at

absolute beginners and novices.

An opportunity to start right from Step-1,

or for novices to improve their basic steps, turns

and simple combinations.

It's also a good starting point for any followers who want to learn to lead.

Spread the word to beginners, novices and

anyone who is tempted to try.

The hardest step is the first one onto the dancefloor.

No, they are not all beginners.

Yes, there were some complete beginners and novices.

Plus some followers learning to lead.

And a big thank you several who came along just because

they love salsa and want to help and encourage others.

A converted 19th century farm that is now a multi-arts centre with a theatre, art gallery, rehearsal rooms and music studio.

Very easy to find, well signposted and only one mile from the A1 at Birtley services. On-site free parking. See map below.

The centre also has its own cafe and bar, a great place to meet for pre and post rueda refreshments.

Saturdays - Most, but not every Saturday. See dates at the top of this page.

2.00 - 4.00 pm (The cafe and bar are open in the same building).

£8.00 for a full two hour session. (Cash only).

Easy to find. Only 2 miles from A1.

Free parking.
